All Saints and All Souls' Day

The 1 and 2 November are very special to us because they are dedicated to our dead. All we go to the cemetery to bring flowers and candles for our loved ones.
Many Italian authors have dedicated their works to this event, among them we remember Antonio De Curtis known as Totò.

'A livella
Ogn'anno,il due novembre,c'é l'usanza
per i defunti andare al Cimitero.
Ognuno ll'adda fà chesta crianza;
ognuno adda tené chistu penziero.

La nivelle
Chaque année , le deux novembre, c'est l'usage
d'aller au cimetière pour les défunts.
Chacun rend cette civilité
Chacun tient à cette pensée.

'A nivela
Cada año, en noviembre, es usanza
ir por los difuntos al Cementerio.
Cada uno ha de tener esta crianza,
esta intención que es del mundo entero.

ΤΟ ΑΛΦΑΔΙ
Στις δύο Νοεμβρίου, κάθε χρόνο, συνήθεια είναι
το νεκροταφείο, για τους νεκρούς, να επισκεφτόμαστε.
Όλοι, αυτό το χρέος, έχουνε.
Όλοι, αυτή τη σκέψη πρέπει να τιμούν.
