Memories of summer

We Italians are used to spend our summer vacation periods at sea. With some shells collected last year during our summer vacation, we realized paintings. In addition, our classmates of class V B have written beautiful poems.

The sea

Blue sea
you are a clear sky.
Great sea,
immense love.
Sea full of color,
you're a giant rainbow.
Shining sea,
You are the sunshine.
Rough sea
you are a horse that runs angry.
Sea you are a brother,
in the summer you give jewels.
Sea are a caress
with your gentle breeze

Joy to the sea

How nice to go to sea,
with the foaming waves.
How nice to go to sea
play, laugh, joke.
How nice to eat ice cream
and then a nice avocado.

How nice swim
among the rocks near the sea.
How nice to make sand castles
on the sunny beach.
How nice to go to sea
e. .. I want back soon.

Pupils of class IV E and V B

Summer is here

The school is over
and summer has arrived.
The teachers and classmates will not see
But I soon will find them.
I'll go on holiday
e. .. I'll enjoy.
I plunge into the blue sea
and I'll meet many new friends.
the summer will fly between play
and freedom.
September will came
... a new year will begins.

SPRING POEMS

Spring, season of flowers and joy,
feelings and happiness,
and a huge desire of love.
First days of spring are past,
but nobody wants that spring finishes soon, just now.
Children play in the streets,
parks retake the atmosphere of spring...
It is evident in the air...
But in my heart there is a problem...
spring, spring... do not go of my life ..
Without you I am nothing ...
spring, season of flowers and joy.

A Christmas poetry

This is a Christmas poem well-known in our school

E’ nato! Alleluia!
di Guido Gozzano

E’ nato il sovrano bambino,

è nato! Alleluia, alleluia!

La notte che già fu sì buia

risplende di un astro divino.

Orsù, cornamuse, più gaie

suonate! Squillate, campane!

Venite, pastori e massaie,

o genti vicine e lontane!

Non sete, non molli tappeti,

ma come nei libri hanno detto

da quattromill’anni i profeti,

un poco di paglia ha per letto.

Da quattromill’anni s’attese

a quest’ora su tutte le ore.

E’ nato, è nato il Signore!

E’ nato nel nostro paese.

Risplende d’un astro divino

la notte che già fu sì buia.

E’ nato il Sovrano Bambino,

è nato! Alleluia, alleluia!

Was born the sovereign child

was born! Alleluia, alleluia!

The night was so dark already

glows with a heavenly divine.

Ah, bagpipes, more gay

play! Ringing, bells!

Come, shepherds and housewives,

or people near and far!

Not thirsty, not soft carpets,

but as the books said

thousand years by the prophets,

has a little straw to bed.

From thousand years gave heed

at this time on all hours.

was born, was born the Lord!

Shines with a heavenly divine

already the night was so dark.

Was born the Sovereign Child.

Autumn in France

To celebrate the autumn first, we have chosen a poem : « Monsieur Automne ».
The author, Carl Norac is belgian but he lives in France, near our school.

Monsieur Automne,
J’ai rencontré Monsieur Automne
Il portait un costume d’homme
Dont les feuilles tombaient, tombaient
Quand il riait, quand il riait. Je connais bien Monsieur Automne
Son parfum de vent et de pomme
Une main froide, l’autre chauffée
Au dernier souvenir d’été. Monsieur Automne n’est pas triste
Hier je l’ai vu en artiste
Repeindre les bois en couleur,
Du brun d’écorce au rouge coeur.

Carl NORAC

He talk about place of autumn between summer and winter.

Then, we have collected autumn's material.
We have represented autumn with leaf and wood. We have painted the sheet in grey like the rain.
At the end, we have planted acorn. Now, we are waiting for our oak trees !!

The fall

Autunno

Fall
Fall the leaves blown by the wind
looks at the child and is happy
this dance improvisation
that lies flat on the lawn.
Runs the child and collects
can finally touch the leaves
reddish yellow and orange
are the colors of this season.
Here autumn is back!
they say it leaves, trees, lawn

da Una scuola intorno a noi, edizi. Tresei

Foglie gialle

Ma dove ve ne andate,
povere foglie gialle,
come tante farfalle spensierate?
Venite da lontano o da vicino?
Da un bosco o da un giardino?
E non sentite la malinconia
del vento stesso che vi porta via ?

Yellow leaves

But where you go,
poor yellow leaves,
like so many carefree butterflies?
Come from afar or close up?
From a forest or a garden?
And do not feel the gloom
the wind itself that takes you away?

September

An attempt to translate it into English
From father Autumn
and mother rain
a first child was born.
Its name was September
and came like dew
from the sky's arms
It brought the joy of grave gathering,
grapes, red, sweet and juicy.
The must scented, wine dropped
Dionusus and his nymphs
danced frenzily till dawn
It had two friends only
the grey clouds
and the wind
